Abstract :
The field emission display panel has been regarded as one of the promising flat display panel in the future(Burden et al., 2003 and Talin et al., 2001). It is well known that the charge deposition on the insulator walls in a FED can change the distribution of the electric field and the emission performance of the cathode obviously. This paper simulates the movements of the primary electrons emitted from the cold cathode. Then, the secondary electron emissions from the insulator wall are also estimated. Finally, the influence of the charge deposition is studied
