Abstract
This paper discusses various techniques used in “sensorless” high-performance torque-controlled induction motor drives. The implementations use the TMS320C30 DSP. The techniques used include conventional and artificial intelligence-based methods and experimental results are shown for various sensorless vector and direct torque-controlled drives
