Abstract :
An antenna is usually designed to produce a desired radiation far-field pattern in various directions. Horn antennas are widely used in the outputs of high power microwave tubes. We have created a 3-D circular horn antenna model by HFSS and calculated the output properties for the four important modes TE11, TM01, TM02 , and TM03. We can use the HFSS code to find out some important parameters for the horn antenna, include the peak directivity and peak gain
