Abstract :
In this paper, we have successfully demonstrated the feasibility of using microwaves to decompose H2O2 to produce dry steam (H2O) and oxygen (O2) gas. Complex permittivity of H2O2 was measured over a frequency range of 50 MHz to 20 GHz. Decomposition experiments were carried out at various sample configurations and different microwave power levels. Gaseous decomposition products were analyzed and oxygen evolution was monitored
