Ka-Band CCTWT Development at L-3 Electron Devices Division

In describing the development and measured results to date, this paper discusses the design process which led to a nearly fully compliant prototype on the first build. A priori design code predictions were shown along with the measured hardware performance. In the interest of continuous improvement, lessons learned are also be given. These include use of design codes to help resolve subsequent manufacturing issues which were not anticipated in the initial design process
