Abstract :
Recently, the number of different kind of 3D scanning devices and surface reconstruction algorithms has been growing rapidly. 3D Models can be used in a large range of exciting applications areas. For instance the industrial design, manufacturing, the held of medicine can be mentioned. In this paper an improved vision based 3D measurement system is introduced. The system enables the measurement of complicated surfaces, as well. The measurement can be performed in realtime, which widens the range of its possible applications.
