Abstract :
This paper presents an interpolation scheme that can be used in the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) scheme containing locally refined meshes. The new FDTD-subgridding scheme is stable and highly accurate due to low reflections from the interface between meshes. The overall algorithm´s performance was verified in numerical tests.
