Abstract
MAFIA has been used in the simulation and optimization of TWT slow wave structure, and also the beam/wave interaction in helix TWT with fairly good accuracy. In this paper, a preliminary and quick design of W-band folded waveguide slow wave structure (FWG SWS) was performed based on theoretical research. The geometric and beam parameters optimization were carried out until all requirements were satisfied
