Abstract
This paper deals with the design of a three phase synchronous reluctant machine. This machine is constituted by two stators and two massive rotors. A homopolar exciting winding is jointly liable for stator. Due to three-dimensional geometry of the machine, the main object of this study is to develop very quick tools of design which allows defining motor performances. This method is based on reluctance network modelling which takes into account the saturation of ferromagnetic parts. The obtained results are widely compared with the ones deduced by finite elements method
