Abstract
In this paper, we propose an inverse dispersion fiber (IDF) whose chromatic dispersion is designed to compensate for that of conventional 1.31 mum zero-dispersion single-mode fibre (standard single-mode fiber-SSMF). The proposed fiber has a major enough effective area and a small macrobanding loss. The fundamental part of the intensity focused in a central part of a core, that in a place with rather small percent of the doping additive allows to achieve low attenuation in the fiber. The chromatic dispersion dependence of the wavelength is chosen so the fiber can be used in C and L wavelength diapasons. Last advantage is especially useful for build-up of dispersion maps
