Abstract
This paper presents investigations to improve shielded rooms for EMI measurements using the acoustical method of Schroeder diffusors. The field distribution of different rooms is simulated with the frequency domain program based on the finite-difference method, MAFIA, and in the time-domain with a TLM-based program. The results of the optimized chambers are compared with a rectangular reference room
