Abstract
In this paper we discuss results of numerical investigation of chaotic dynamics in Gyrotron with non-fixed field structure. We compute Lyapunov exponents for chaotic attractors and estimate their dimensions on the base of Kaplan-Yorke formula. Dimension values are found to be anomalously high and we correlate this result with the presence of large number of high-Q eigenmodes in gyrotron resonator due to operation near the cutoff frequency
