Abstract :
The author derives and presents, in detail and with very high frequency resolution, computer-aided procedures for calculating the total performance of ALC and self-limiting oscillators. He considers the determination of the type of self-limiting in effect in a given oscillator. The use of commercially available computer-aided analysis programs and their attendant problems in the analysis of ALC and self-limiting oscillators are also examined. The formulation of additional theory and procedures required to adapt the closed-loop analysis theory to self-limiting oscillators, is also considered along with oscillator zeroing
