Abstract :
There are data islands and function overlaps with emerging court systems. Service Oriented Architecture and technologies are envisioned as appropriate computational paradigms and approaches for information systems to be collaborated and integrated, and support dynamic and automatic services collaboration and composition. This paper is to apply service-oriented architecture and Web services into the planning, design, implementation and integration of digital court applications and services, to make digital court systems to be flexible and responsive to meet dynamic requirements and evolvements. The scenarios of digital courts will be presented and requirements be discussed. A service-oriented digital court framework will be proposed. A model-driven collaborative development platform will be developed to implement the proposed framework. The platform provides service-oriented software engineering approaches and tools, and has been developed in authors´ previous work. Based on the platform, trial services and applications can be implemented through business engineers and technical engineers in separate collaborative workspaces.
