Abstract
The dispersion characteristics of the ferroelectric domain layer waves (FDLW) in the 180° domain structure of PZT-5 materials with finite layers have been discussed in the paper. Comparing with some 180° domain structure, a new FDLW mode with asymmetric vibration is found. Experimental results are agreement with the theoretical ones. In the other, it is shown theoretically that the electromechanical coupling factor of the FDLW mode in the 180° domain sandwich structure increases rapidly as hk decreases at hk≪1
