Abstract :
A mathematical analysis is performed on multichannel fractionally spaced-least square constant modulus algorithm (MFS-LSCMA) in frequency domain. It has been shown that the convergence rate and bit error rate (BER) vs. signal to noise ratio (SNR) based on computer simulation is comparable with MFS-LSCMA in time domain. In this paper, the MFS-LSCMA in frequency domain is studied and it is shown that the frequency domain algorithm converges to the true solution. It is also proved that the convergence rate and BER vs. SNR of MFS-LSCMA in frequency domain is superior to that of MFS-LSCMA in time domain. The time and frequency equalizer outputs are presented in the paper.
