Abstract
In this work a parametrical analysis of grid amplifier performances will be presented. The proposed analysis will be carried out using a simple equivalent transmission line model where each element of the grid is simulated in an infinite array environment deriving an S-matrix representation from a full wave analysis. Therefore, this technique allows the real geometry of each part of the circuit to be taken into account while preserving the simulation efficiency. Results will show how the most significant geometrical and electrical parameters of the grid amplifier influence its performances.
