    Trying to improve a process by looking at some of the smallest parts of the system is asking for trouble, if you do not know what you are doing. The process that you normally are trying to improve is also a process with a lot of uncertain parameters. The process is a dynamic system. A software process is almost always a process of chaos. We describe why and how to handle this situation, and which warning signs to look out for
