Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of calculating the power system equivalent circuit parameters using local measurements at the point of common coupling (PCC). For this purpose, a new algorithm based on three sets of measurements is proposed. The proposed algorithm is more practical and has some advantages over the previous methods. The necessary measured data for this approach are magnitude of voltage and current and the power factor. Verification studies, including simulation and experimental results, are provided to verify the algorithm. Moreover, some practical situations such as noise condition and slow variations of system parameters are investigated. Index
