  • Abstract
The use of vibration platform for improved wellness is widely accepted. While these platforms are commonly advertised to improve tone and facilitate relaxation, there appears to be little scientific evidence of the impact of these platforms on muscle contraction. This paper reports the experimental study where the effect of full body vibration platform on various parameters of muscle contraction such as maximum voluntary contraction, endurance limit and onset of muscle fatigue, along with the measure of pain index has been studied. The results indicate that there was a significant improvement in each of these categories after the use of the vibration platform.
