Abstract :
This paper presents an interconnected high-gain observers for induction motor (IM) drive without mechanical sensors (speed sensor and load torque sensor). The observer was developed based on the nonlinear model of the IM in the rotating reference frame (dq). It may be easy to use this observer for direct flux oriented control scheme for example. The proposed high-gain nonlinear observer is designed using Lyapunov stability tools. The observer is tested and validated on reference trajectories of a sensorless induction motor observer benchmark available in IRCCyN ( Nantes,FPrance). The trajectories of this benchmark are chosen to test the motor in observable and unobservable conditions. The robustness of the observer is also discussed
