Abstract :
This work presents the model order reduction of a nonlinear circuit consisting of resistors, capacitors and nonlinear cubic Chua diodes by the Trajectory Piecewise Linearization (TPWL) method. The TPWL method approximates a model of nonlinear differential equations by a weighted sum of linear systems with linear equations. For reducing the order of linear system of equations thus obtained, we have applied the reduction technique based on projection of the original state space to a state space of lower dimensional by Krylov projection technique via Arnoldi algorithm. The computational results obtained for the nonlinear circuit show a considerable reduction in model size.
