Abstract :
This paper deals with collaborative decision making issues. The research aims to study and evaluate a collaborative approach for decision making. To assess this approach, we refer to Collaboration Engineering design patterns called ThinkLets and FacilitateExpress which is a collaborative tool that can be used as a GDSS (Group Decision Support System). Two experiments have been done, one in a bank company and one in a research institute in order to collect data for analysis. The results were interpreted and they revealed somewhat favourable of the approach according to the situation, i.e., several steps.
