Abstract
This work develops a decentralized adaptive strategy for throughput maximization over peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. The adaptive strategy can cope with changing network topologies, is robust to network disruptions, and does not rely on central processors. The algorithm is obtained as a special case of a more general diffusion strategy for the distributed solution of optimization problems with constraints. Simulation results illustrate how the proposed technique is competitive with other methods.
