Abstract
In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), there is an interesting phenomena. It can “treat different diseases with the same therapy” (TDDST). This meant that different diseases manifesting themselves in the same syndrome may be treated with the same therapy. What´s more, TCM can also “treat the same disease with different therapies” (TSDDT), by which it means that the same disease may manifest itself in different syndromes at different stages or under different conditions. Both TDDST and TSDDT are aiming at one goal: healing the patients/diseases. During thousands year´s practise, TCM works in both TDDST and TSDDT. In order to describe this interesting phenomenon, we propose a process algebra with goal based equivalent relationship in this paper.
