Abstract :
A positive influence of electro-stimulation upon the regeneration of an injured osseous tissue is known. In the work presented, we solve the problem of increasing the efficacy of treating bone/joint injuries and disease using electrets based on films of anodic tantalum oxide, polytetrafluoroethylene and its copolymers, these thin layers covering the surface of complicate-formed fixators of bone fragments. The results are given of investigating electret properties of the said films, depending on methods of obtaining electrization, stabilization and operation. It is shown that the stability, if the films´ electret state is obtained under optimum conditions, is sufficient for prolonged and efficacious stimulation of an osteoreparation process in the electroconductive and aggressive environment within the organism
