Abstract
The authors describe a data preparation which closely imitates the hierarchical structures and objects present in a power system and applies operational terminology in abbreviated form. The meshed topological linkage is expressed by syntax and references assigned to objects. The main aim is to use the proposed description for the data supply of a stand-alone training simulator, capable of modeling any power system described in terms of a dictionary that is predefined in meaning.<>
