Abstract :
This paper is concerned with issues related to further examination of low-inertia thermoelectric microcoolers. Such devices are useful to deliver powerful short-term heating action an objects of low thermal capacity, as for example, in data recording or deletion using heating or cooling msec-pulses on thermochrome film. Formulae suitable for engineering design have been obtained, describing the opportunities of pulse cooling. It has been demonstrated that the mono-pulse/frequency mode change impose additional requirements on heat removal and contact heating resistance on the thermoelectric cooler hot side
