Abstract :
In this work the dielectric relaxation time of glycine, a natural amino acid essential for normal development of the body has been reported. Using Q-meter method of measurement in the high frequency range of 10-30 MHz the real and imaginary components of the complex permittivity were computed. Using existing theories the dielectric relaxation times were obtained in the range of 6.92 n sec to 10.60 n sec when the sample of glycine in the powder form was subjected to pressures in the range of 5 to 8 tons. The result for dielectric relaxation times are in agreement with the theoretical computed values
