Abstract
Porous materials are strongly associated with their dissipative properties. A relationship between material durability limits, and dispersed mechanical energy magnitude over the sample destruction cycle, has been experimentally established. This relationship is determined the way of destruction. The presence of such a relation for the porous material, enables the durability limit to be defined, without destruction of the investigated specimen
