Abstract :
Accuracy of the network parameters has significant impact on the performance of almost all energy management system applications. Network model is built based on these parameters which are stored in the company´s data base and are not typically inspected unless they are flagged by the user or a software package. Hence, errors associated with network parameters are not easily and commonly detected leading to varying degrees of inaccuracies in the results of network applications that rely on the network data base. This paper reviews some recent methods that are proposed for automatic detection, identification and correction of parameter errors in network data bases.
