Abstract :
In this paper a mathematical model should be found describing the behaviour of polymeric materials under high field stress. The model describes application of integral approach to numerical computation of fields in a multi-dielectric. The effect of varying both dielectric constant and dielectric thickness of the insulating material in field gaps on the electric field distribution have been investigated. In the present work, the study is on the estimation of nonuniform field in the presence of polymeric materials in the field gaps under different needle radius, gap distance. The effect of the ratio between dielectric length and plate electrode length (H/S) is also investigated
