Abstract

It is shown that the existing information in the literature concerning constitutive tensors for bianisotropic media is not complete and contains, in our opinion, many errors. In this paper, constitutive tensors of the second-rank for bianisotropic media described by 122 magnetic groups of symmetry are calculated and complete tables of the tensors are presented. Some general properties of the bianisotropic media such as the magnetoelectric effect, enantiomorphism and reciprocity are discussed
