Abstract :
A three-dimensional trajectory drawing system using high-speed motion of a light source is proposed in this paper. The principle of the drawing system is based on afterimage phenomenon of human vision. A parallel wire drive mechanism with three degrees of freedom is utilized for high-speed motion control of the light source. In this paper we describe a design method of the trajectory drawing system based on the required maximum velocity and acceleration of the light source. Then, the trajectory generation that reduces the acceleration is proposed. Finally, the performance is evaluated by drawing a tetrahedron in three-dimensional space.
