Abstract
Problems and challenges for application of uncooled THz/sub-THz detectors for active vision systems are discussed. Mainly there speculated the detectors based on field effect transistors (FETs) and narrow-gap hot electron bolometers as they seem to be promising for using in large format broadband arrays of low-cost systems.
