Abstract :
This paper presents an approach to the analysis of the measurement performance of digital receivers (DR) depending on a priori defined characteristics of a radio-communication system. With the aim of determining the effect of the conversion process on measurement performance, the receiver stages are derived and analyzed, including nonlinear effect, and the impact of analog-to-digital conversion on receiving process. Moreover, investigated are the effects of the phase noise and jitter of the external signals used in the conversion process.
