Over the past thirty to forty years the underground enclosure industry has gone through many changes. These changes have come in the form of materials and geometry, which have lead to performance challenges. This paper provides a brief history and an overview of how the industry has transformed over the years and provide standards engineers with a solution for their underground enclosure performance
