PRN: A Novel Trust Model

Trust and credibility of computer user takes an important role in virtual network society. Trust research is focus on two facets: calculating model and trust distribution. This paper emphasize the former and a novel PRN (positive, referral and negative) trust calculating model based on positive reputation and referral reputation is proposed, in which negative reputation is derived from positive reputation but not comes from its bad actions directly like many conditional models. And its calculating performance shows that PRN trust model correspond with real society trust relationship well.
