Abstract :
Wavelet transforms are used in conjunction with surrogate data techniques for epileptic spike detection and seizure localization from electroencephalogram data. Fast wavelet transform techniques demonstrate vast improvement in computational efficiency without a significant decrement in the quality of feature extraction
