Abstract
This paper describes the methodology, tools, and results for integrating customer metering and billing data with GIS and SCADA data to enhance distribution planning and operating processes, optimize capital spending, and reduce device overloading and failure. The paper features case studies of results and benefits achieved by two US utilities.
