Abstract
This paper analyzes assessment features that can be found in the most popular open source e-learning management systems. The aim of this paper is to introduce the different functionalities and assessment methods that these e-learning systems provide and select the most appropriate according to their assessment functions and their ability to support other e-learning platforms.
