Abstract
The MPEG-21 REL DAC profile, as defined by ISO/IEC 21000-5/Amd2 provides flexible, interoperable mechanisms to represent the usage rights and conditions of digital broadcast programs. It is also designed to express rights information specified in several existing standards for protecting digital broadcast content, such as CCI, TV-Anytime RMPI, DVB-CPCM USI and rights object of OMA DRM v2.0 extensions for broadcast. This paper introduces these rights information standards and presents how the DAC Profile provides its interoperability with them by representing these rights information standards.
