  • Abstract
    Traffic signal controller is playing more and more important roles in modern management and control of urban traffic. This paper presents an intelligent traffic signal controller based on multi-microcomputer technology. The architecture and fundamental functions of the intelligent traffic signal controller is firstly introduced in detail, then the human-computer interface based on visual technology designed for the controller is formulated, and finally an application case in practice is discussed.
