Abstract :
Technology adoption in agricultural field can improve productivity and quality of crop with less effort of farmer. Distributed Embedded System (DES) helps farmers to create suitable environment for harvesting even in unstable natural weather conditions. Distributed embedded system measures and control efficiently different parameters like water availability, temperature, humidity etc... which are necessary in crop development cycle. Soil quality and crop development depends on water irrigation method. In this paper controller Area Network (CAN) communication has been proposed in order to handle communication between distributed nodes for irrigation system.
