Abstract :
Proposes a simple adaptive retransmission control scheme for slotted frequency-hopped spread-spectrum multiple access systems. The scheme makes the retransmission probability adaptively change according to the system state such that channel throughput can be maximized. It is shown that a performance quite close to that of the optimal transmission control scheme can be achieved
