Abstract :
The train service on the entire Waterfront Line (between Shinbashi and Ariake) was started on November 1, 1995. The integrated traffic control system and automatic train operation system used in the equipment of the Waterfront Line were designed and developed as the brain and nerves of train operation, respectively, by our company. This article offers an overview of the basic functions, performance, etc. of both systems in terms of wayside/cab transmission
