Abstract :
The paper presents our experience of using FPGA as a cost-effective and flexible tool in the prototyping and development of digital signal processing (DSP) applications or systems. Owing to the constant advances in the VLSI technology and the availability of powerful application software, this FPGA based on the Xilinx proprietary logic cell arrays family, offers a flexible technology for DSP application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) prototype development
