Abstract :
A new method for generating ultra-fine charged solid particles were investigated. The particles were generated from liquid ink droplets. The diameter and the charge of obtained particles are 0.14 to 0.89 μm and 9 × 10-18 to 8 × 10-16 C respectively. Using the particles, charge distributions of fine electret fibers were visualized.
