Abstract :
For single cell analysis, the quantitative and local environmental control technique with nanopipettes is desired. We previously proposed "organic nanotube (ONT) nanopipette" and showed the spout of the fluorescent solution from the ONT nanopipette. In this paper, to estimate the spouting volume more accurately, the major migration force in the spout from the ONT nanopipette is identified by spouting experiment with changing the experimental conditions, such as the fluorescent dye and the polarity of the electrodes. As a result, it is considered that the electro-osmosis is the major migration force in the spout from the ONT nanopipette. The identification of the major migration force in the ONT nanopipette will give more precise mathematical model to estimate the spouting volume.
