Abstract :
Defining employment relationships from the employer´s perspective and based on the inducement-contribution framework, this study examined the relationship between employment relationships and managerial turnover intention in a heterogeneous sample of firms in the People´s Republic of China (PRC). The results indicated that managerial turnover intention differed under different employment relationship approaches. Furthermore, high technology moderated the relationship between employment relationships and managerial turnover intention.
